PlatinumGames NEO-CLASSIC series of arcade games combines the excitement and fun of traditional gaming, but with the latest technology. One of the first projects involves Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta uses the same form and docking techniques that were used in Terra Cresta's legendary shooting game Moon Cresta. It also incorporates the new "free-form docking method". Based upon the configuration of three vessels the flagship Yamato (Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi) may employ a variety of attacks. Docking, splitting, and refitting the vessels when needed is the key to defeating the armies of Mandler.
